Young drivers in Spain okay

The rates we show are usually for drivers aged 25+, but drivers as young as 18 (use Flizzr with credit card) can hire cars, but pay extra locally. Drivers aged 19 yeas plus can use Interrent & OK cars, but again no debit card, or cash, allowed.

Drivers aged 21yrs + have a few more options with a few more suppliers, but extra fees still payable. If unsure, please email us. If aged 23 years, then you can book with Flizzr and pay not have to an extra fee. Clean, full, licences must been held for at least a year.

Debit cards okay in Spain

If you are the lead driver and not got a credit card, then you can now use a Visa or Mastercard debit card across Spain, the Balearics and the Canary Islands, when you book through us and use one of Centauro, Goldcar or Record.

About Almeria Airport

Almeria Airport serves the Almeria region of Spanish Andalusia.It has easy connection to the first class tourist locations of Cabo de Gata, Mojacar, Vera, Roquetas de Mar, Garrucha and Aguadulce.

Almeria is less busy than Malaga and Seville, which are the other two airports that service this idyllic region of Spain.

The single terminal airport caters to both domestic and international flights. The airport is fitted with wide access toilets , ramps and elevators.

If driving, follow signs for the AL-12 motorway, if heading towards Almeria. If driving to the airport, take the same motorway, and exit at KM9.
