Almeria airport serves the Almeria region of Spanish Andalusia.
It has easy connection to the first class tourist locations of Cabo de Gata, Mojacar, Vera, Roquetas de Mar, Garrucha and Aguadulce.
Almeria is less busy that Malaga and Seville, the other two airports that service this idyllic region of Spain. The single terminal airport caters to both domestic and international flights.
The airport is fitted with wide access toilets , ramps and elevators. Should you need some assistance please notify your airline in advance.
Tourist information help desk is located on level zero and will assist with shuttle bus time tables and any onward information or help required.
Travelling to and from Almeria Airport
The desk for Auriga Crown Car Hire, can be found in the arrivals hall. They are open 24 hours, but arrival flight information is essential. Phone +34 950 213 868
Goldcar are also based in the terminal building. The hire desk is open from 0800H to 2300H. The phone number is +34 965 23 31 74.
Unfortunately no train service available, so you must either use the regular shuttle service, use the taxi service or rent a car preferable in advance as this will work out cheaper.
If driving, follow signs for the AL-12 motorway, if heading towards Almeria. If driving to the airport, take the same motorway, and exit at KM9.
Please follow the signs for car rental returns when returning your rental car to the airport car parks.
