About La Gomera & the Canary Islands
Being closer to Africa than Spain, it is blessed with a perfectly mild climate through out the year, making it a paradise for outdoor lovers.
The Canary Islands consist of Tenerife, Fuertueventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro as the main tourist islands. Then you have the smaller islands, starting with the two Rocques, del Este and del Oeste. That leaves the Isla de Lobos and the islands of Alegranza, Graciosa and Montana Clara. The islands of the Canaries owe their origin to volcanic activity which in turn has produced a natural diverse landscape with tropical rain forest, pine groves, mountain peaks and pristine beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see.
