Koh Samui Airport Information

Koh Samui Airport caters for the ever growing passenger numbers. Most new airports are built of shiny aluminium and glass, like Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. However, Koh Samui Airport is a cluster of open air, low rise buildings with thatched roofs and pillars that resemble palm trees. The new terminal, like the current one, has the feel of a tropical resort.

In keeping with the tropical theme there is a small open air restaurant serving food and refreshments. The expanding airport will be able accommodate the new Airbus A319 of the Bangkok Airways fleet.
