Scuba Diving in Phuket -
Due to the monsoon season, scuba diving is only really done between November and April. This is because the seas are too choppy, with strong currents. For all year round scuba diving, go to the the Gulf of Thailand. Either head for Koh Samui, or the two wrecks off Pattaya are worth a visit.
However, the best scuba is done in the south of Thailand, and the Andaman Sea and Similan Islands in particular. Spend three nights on a boat, and get to see some fantastic marine life.
