About Dalaman Airport
The IATA code is DLM, and is conveniently located just some 8km from the south of the town centre. Dalaman International Terminal offers information counters in both arrivals and departure halls. The staff at these counters will be happy to help passengers with any questions. A first aid service staffed by doctors and nurses of Caria Clinic is open 24 hours per day.
A Dalaman Drive
Start your drive from Dalaman and head west toward Dalyan. This route follows quiet country roads and passes through farmland, pine forests, and small villages. In Dalyan, visit the ancient Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliffs, take a boat ride along the river, and relax at Iztuzu Beach, a protected nesting site for sea turtles.
Continue the drive toward Saklikent Gorge, one of the deepest canyons in Turkey. The road winds through mountain valleys and offers views of rivers and rugged cliffs. Stop for a short hike through the gorge and cool off in the fresh water.
Loop back through Gocek, a coastal town known for its marina and quiet bays. The road hugs the coast and offers views of the Aegean Sea and forested hills. Stop for seafood by the water before returning to Dalaman.
