In and Around Treviso
Treviso is situated in the northern region of Italy. It's local name is Citta dAcqua, which translates to City of Water. It is the capital of the Treviso province, and is also home to Benetton, the famed Italian fashion label.
Treviso is normally overshadowed by its neighbour Venice, but Treviso is also beautiful, if not on the same scale as Venice. This region of Italy is famous for its selection of great wines, notably the local sparkling wine, Prosecco. Touring the wine regions is a must, and best done in a rental car. Or you can arrange to go in a group tour, which can be booked at a local travel agency.
