Cheaper car hire at Gatwick Airport

They are linked by a mono-rail system. When returning you car to the airport, be aware that they have different access points off the motorway. Make sure you re-fuel your car before dropping off the car.

National Express also offer bus services throughout the UK. Bus transfers to Heathrow and other airports are also available if car hire is not your mode of travel.

About Gatwick Airport

At the South Terminal, the car hire depots are just outside on the ground floor. However, at the Gatwick North Terminal, you need to go the the roof of the public car park, to collect and return your rental car.

If you are not familiar with getting from Gatwick to your destination, then consider adding Sat Nav to your booking. Our GPS is multi-lingual and will ensure no costly wrong turns.

If flying to Gatwick and out from Heathrow, then you can leave the car at either airport, but you will incur an extra one way fee. London Gatwick Airport caters for both the scheduled airline market but also is heavily into holiday charter flights. Reserved parking for disabled is close to both terminals entrances. If you do need assistance please notify your airline in advance.

If not hiring a car, then the Gatwick Express is a popular way of getting to and from the airport. The train station is centrally located in the airport, and frequent train services offer an alternative to car hire. Make sure you catch the right train, as the express will only stop at Clapham and London Victoria Station.

Gatwick is next to the M23, which can take you to London or Brighton. If heading to London, make sure you know which part of the M25 you want to get on, as at the main junction, you can either go left or right.
