This city has a Premiership football, The Swans, and a rugby team, The Ospreys.

The nearby Mumbles are a must go visit, as most of the Gower Peninsula, where the city sits. Rolling hills, old mining villages and the dramatic coastline, all add to the attraction of the area.

It is just s short trip over the Severn Bridge, so with M4 and M5, makes for easy access from England.

Swansea has a history going back to the Viking invaders, and the name comes from the Norse language.
