If not collecting your car at Colombo International Airport, then you can get the car in the city itself from either the Hilton or Continental Hotels.

However, if not staying at, or near, these hotels, the hire car can be delivered to your hotel, or collected from the downtown location.

If travelling around Sri Lanka, then you can do a one way to either Negambo or Ragama.

When booking your vehicle, you need to also consider the unseen costs, such as how much is likely to he held against your card for the local excess deposit, and any possible claims that will be made.

The excess can usually be reduced to zero, or a lower amount, by paying for local insurance on arrival. The alternative are, to either take the risk nobody bumps you in a car park, or purchase excess cover insurance to cover any possible claim.

Then if you need extra drivers, Sat Nav, child seats, tyre chains etc., calculating the total cost can be something of a headache, so we are happy to help ease the mental and financial strain, so just get a quote and tell us what you need, and we will point you in the right direction of your cheapest options.

Mileage can also be a consideration, as more suppliers, like Keddy, have mileage allowances, before you pay for extra distance covered.
