Once you reach Rayong, relax on the beautiful pristine beaches, which stretch for over 100km. You must make sure you park your rental car at one of the many seaside seafood restaurants.

Suggest you don't put Durian in your hire car, as Durian has a very strong smell, that lingers and is banned from hotels. However, it does have a sensational taste and texture, unlike any other fruit.

Visit Wat Pa Pradu. Built during the Ayutthaya period, the temple has a large reclining Buddha which reclines to the left side. Most recline to the right. The best beach to drive your hire car to, is Hat Sai. This is a fine sandy beach, with bungalows for rent on the beachfront.
A perfect place to go for a few days, with many fine seafood restaurants, that are best reached by car. Drive approx 12km's along Highway 3, in the direction of Sattahip, and take a right turn at Kilometer 207-208. The beach is just 3 Km's down this road, opposite the large outdoor Maptaphut market.
Regular flights from Bangkok Thai Airways operate daily to Utapao International Airport from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Samui.
Rayong can be reached by bus from most major towns including Bangkok Pattaya, Chanthaburi, Chonburi, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Surin and Ubon Ratchathani.
