Driver Age - To drive in Finland, you have to be at least 20 years old. However, for many car types, the primary driver must be at least 25 years old. Such drivers should have held their licenses for one year. If these conditions are not met, there will be a surcharge imposed.

Skiing in the Artic Circle, with chances of seeing the Northern Lights has to make for a good holiday, especially if you don't like crowded places, as under 7,000 people live here.

Each year the World Cup ski circus comes to town for the Levi downhill and slalom races. Cross country skiing is also good here. Yes, there is is gold, in 'them there hills', making Kittila one of the biggest mines in Europe.
