Since the 16th century, Keflavik has been known as being one of the best places in Iceland for the fishing industry, which further pushed it to have such a strong sense of community today.
With cool summers and not so harsh winters, Keflavik is a great place to stay before adventuring out into the harsher climates that Iceland is notorious for.
We offer quality discounted car hire at Keflavik Airport. This includes a good range of estate cars, SUV, MPV and minivans.
Free Sat Nav - Look for the GPS logo next to some of the Alamo vehicles, as Sat Nav included in the price.

This is the main international airport, with the IATA code of KEF, which started life as a stopover point during WWII. If need more information on the airport, go to the official website of
Keflavik Airport.
The airport is some 30 miles from the capital, but just a couple for the town of Keflavik itself, which is a small town on the south west coast of Iceland. The name means Driftwood Bay.
However, locally is also goes by the name of Beatle Town, but we do not think any Scouse musicians got there. I think they just had a lot of look a likes at the time!
We also have deals on holiday autos for
Canada.
