All vehicles come with all cover needed, like mileage, breakdown & Collision Damage Waiver reductions, so you just have the local excess deposit to consider, which you usually reduce to zero locally, or cover any claim by taking our excess cover insurance, or leave it and risk the car park scrape, but taking out insurance always the best option.

One way rentals are possible, but a charge applies. Varies on each UK car rental supplier, but usually about GBP50, but is included in price when booking. For example you can collect in Hereford and for a small extra fee, you can leave it in Gloucester.

Please also note, that the downtown depots are shut for holidays and most on Sundays, so cars get scarce, quickly.

Extras like child seats, drivers and Sat Nav can be requested, but are paid for locally.

About Hereford

This town is well known for a few reasons. It is hope to the SAS, Special Air Services, which is nothing to do with airlines, but the British Armed Forces who have the motto Who Dares Wins. They came to fame when the Iranian Embassy, in London, hostage siege was ended with figures clad in black abseiling down into windows on live TV.

Hereford is also well known for a Ronny Radford goal in the FA Cup against Newcastle, many years ago, when the Magic of the FA Cup was still magic, and fans invading the pitch was fun to watch.
