When choosing your vehicle, you need to also consider the damage excess deposit, as this can vary from car to car and by supplier. This is, say USD1500, which they can charge you, for dents, scratches and so-on, deemed to have occurred whilst you were driving. Claims it "happened in a car park," fail to get anywhere.

So you have three choices of either paying the local insurance daily charge to, usually, reduce the amount to zero. Or, take the risk nothing happens, but stone chips can happen anytime.

Harare International Airport, which has the IATA code of HRE, began life in 1956. It is handy for catching flights to places like Lake Kariba, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls.

Harare is trying hard to recover some of it's former glory, with work ongoing.
There are game parks within an hour or two drive of the city centre. Harare (once called Salisbury) is the capital city of Zimbabwe.
