Kings Cross/St Pancras Station is home to the Eurostar. The station is easy to get to by bus or underground. If coming by car or bus, then long term parking is available.

Arrive in good time for your train and have a bite to eat and wet the lips before your journey. If plenty of time, then shopping and spa treatments are also on the concourse.

You cannot get to Hogwarts from Kings Cross, although you can have a photo taken implying you did, as the station was where Harry Potter was supposed to leave for school, from.

The whole area around Kings Cross as been given a lick of paint, or more, so no longer the seedy streets of yesteryear. The attractions of London that you can easily get to, are many.
