About Brisbane & Airport (BNE)
Brisbane is the Queensland capital, near the east coast of Australia. The city is on the Brisbane River and about fifteen miles from the sea, although the suburbs do spread down to Moreton Bay.
Brisbane comes third in the Australian league table of visiting tourists. The Australian Zoo is here. The Gabba Cricket Ground is also here (see link below).
The Brisbane Airport services all of Brisbane and nearby municipalities. It is the third busiest airport in Australia, only next to Sydney and Melbourne. The airport has two terminals which serves passengers around the clock.

From the airport to the central business district, one only has to spend fifteen to twenty minutes driving, but if heading to the Gold Coast, it is a seventy-five minute ride.
A longer travel time is required if you are headed for the Sunshine Coast, where you would spend some 105 minutes on the road.
Travelling to and from the airport is not really a big problem. Brisbane is a highly metropolitan area served with an equally modern airport. Transportation options include taxis, buses and air train. Inter-terminal transfers are available as well, along with a free service provided by the Airport Village courtesy bus.
Taxis are found at the rank located at both terminals. In the international arrivals area, the taxis are found on Level 2, Arrivals area.
A door-to-door bus service is provided by Coachtrans Australia. This bus line can take you right into the gates of your booked hotel at any time of the day.
