About Villach

Not many places in the world have their local festival beamed live on national TV, but they do here. This beautiful, little known town on the Drau River, is one of the top ten largest in Austria, with a population over over 60,000 people. It dates back to beyond Roman times, so has plenty of history.

Like most of Austria, you have a couple of nearby ski resorts at Gerlitzen and Arnoldstein, to practice your stem-christe, parallels or boarding techniques.
