Valletta

Valletta Vehicular Viewing

Start your drive just outside Valletta's city gate and follow the coastal road along the Grand Harbour. This route passes through Floriana and the Three Cities area, including Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua. These towns offer waterfront views, historic bastions, and quiet stone streets.

Continue south toward Kalkara and stop at Fort Rinella, a Victorian-era fortress, with one of the world's largest cannons. Then head toward Marsaskala and drive along the coast to St.Thomas Bay, where the cliffs and sea views are peaceful and open.

Loop inland through Zejtun and Paola, passing traditional Maltese houses and village squares. Stop at the Tarxien Temples, a prehistoric site with stone carvings and ancient chambers. Finish your drive by returning to Valletta via the Marsa area.
