Cheaper Car Hire in USA - Debit Card

If you do not have a credit card, it is now okay to use a debit card (Visa or Mastercard) in the United States, with Dollar & Thrifty at all airport, but not some downtown depots iin New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, Hartford, Atlanta & Manchester).

You must also be 25 years or older, held a licence for more than a year, have your driving licence on you, as well as your passport and return flight ticket.

A security deposit of USD350 will be held until vehicle returned.

It is certainly okay to now use your Visa/Mastercard debit card in the states where the majority of tourist go, like California, Hawaii, Florida, Nevada, Colorado.

If want confirmation that it is okay to use a debit card for where you are going, then please mention debit card in the form, before you get an email quote from our site, and must use Dollar or Thrifty.

If needed, can add GPS, fuel and extra driver packages. Rent a 7 seater minivan, at same quality as going direct. Prices include mileage, insurance and roadside recovery.

Free cancellation, usually up to 48 hours before collection due, and no amendment fees, but subject to any change in vehicle rate, length of rental.
