About Corsica
Corsica is enchanting and is sure to leave a lasting impression and will be sure to last. The island has managed to avoid mass tourism that has plagued many of the other Mediterranean isles so is ideal destination for a family holiday.
There are close on to two hundred beaches spread around the one thousand kilometers of coast line. There are mountains galore, with the highest peak being nearly nine thousand feet above sea level and nigh on another twenty at over six thousand feet, why not combine a ski trip with a beach holiday.
The roads are well maintained, well sign posted and congestion free. However the mountains roads are narrow and bendy, so take your time.
If your villa is located in one of the mountainous regions, we would recommend booking a small car, which will cope better on the narrow roads. There are over three hundred thousand residents on the island.
