As all 4 terminals are housed around a circular construction, it is possible to walk around all the terminals in about twenty five minutes. However, there is always the SFO Airtrain, which is the airports people mover to take you around. This will also take the BART station for your rapid rail options to San Francisco and beyond.

The car rental depot is reached from all terminals by either the above Air train, or a shuttle bus to the outskirts of the airport. However, if the thought jumping onto a seat behind a wheel after a long flight does not appeal, then we suggest arranging to collect from one of the downtown depots.
