Magalluf - Majorca's party town?

Magalluf is on Majocra, or Mallorca, depending on your preference. It is a well known tourist town, that attracts alot of tourists, looking for that heady combination of sun, sea, sand and...sangria. However, their is much to do in and around Magalluf, than lie on the beaches, and sample the local hosteries in the evening. There are many sporting activities to partake in that haven't been arranged by your tour rep, including golf, horse riding, water skiing and much much more.

Remember, that Majorca is a island, that is asking to be explored, by either hiring a car, or motorbike, and heading for the hills. Up in the mountains, you will find some stunning views, excellent restaurants and friendly people, that provide a pleasant change from the beaches of Magalluf or the town of Palma Nova around the bay. The northern part of the island is also definitely worth a visit, as is the cathedral in the capital of Mallorca, Palma.
