With the pickup Budget called the day before to confirm the pickup time and pickup was on time. Drop off and pickup staff were pleasant. Quality of rental car provided Quality of the vehicle was very good. The only complaint as such is that it was black in colour which, given the fact that Bangkok was experiencing 38 to 40 degree celsius temperatures, meant that the interior of the vehicle became very hot when the vehicle was parked. Not experienced this before on offices in Bangkok and Krabi Quality of rental car provided OK, although had the idea that is was older than the average age a rental fleet has usual. Had 80K km on the clock. Car was equiped with "carryboy", that did not lock on 1 side. Pointed at Budget representative, but was received with the typical Thai nonchalance, so no action taken. Fixed it myself when arrived in accomodation (just a lock that had to be refixed in place. Really professional handing over of the car, checking the condition of the car and signing the papers. Communication went really well in UdonThani, but was a bit confusing in Chiang Mai ("I am at the airport, where are you?" after 2 phone calls to confirm the time that I would deliver the car). Quality of rental car provided Excellent condition. New car (less than 20000 km.), correct model, actually better than what I expected, modern and clean. A few scratches (barely visible) and a small dent, all pointed out by the staff in Udon and noted on the paperwork.
