What to do in Barcelona There are many bars and restaurants in Barcelona to satisfy any rumbling stomach. Bocadillos, tapas, raciones are a selection of the Spanish delicacies available throughout the day. There are various kinds of restaurant that you can dine at including: menjadores, tavernes, bodegas or a marisqueria for sea food. At night time head for the cervezerias for a few local beers (don't forget to leave your hire car at the hotel!). Where to go in Barcelona One of the first places you should visit while on your car rental holiday in Barcelona is "La Rambla". This is a street lined with trees and packed with all the street art you can imagine.  There is a market selling birds and Mosaic de Miro, an opera house and even strip clubs and peep show! Just park your hire car somewhere and you can spend the whole day there. If you would like to experience Gothic architecture then drive to Barri Gotic. This area is a maze of streets and alleys filled with bars and restaurants, there is also a busy market. A trip to Barcelona is not complete without a visit to The Museu Picasso. This art museum shows many of Picasso's great works of art.
