We have used Thairent for 5 consecutive years via your website,and have nothing but praise for the service and quality of their cars.Last year I left a hat and my satnav mounting bracket in the car when I returned it,and this year they were in my car when I collected it...what service !.This year my car developed indications that a rear wheel bearing was degenerating.I contacted their office in Hunlya Hin,and had a replacement car ame day...excellent.My only suggestion on improving our experience would be to make the contact with the representative an easier task...also better directions as to where to return the car to the specified area in the airport complex...an idiots guide for me would be excellent !

A friendly service from Thai Rent A Car. This time we had to load all of our own cases into the minibus. A little help would have been nice as we had quite a big party & also we had two young children with us. I feel that the staff could mention at the time of checking the vehicle any items that the customer is liable to pay for should any damage occur such as tyres, etc.

Well organized. After arriving at the budget desk and finnishing the paperwork, I left the airport by car after 15 minutes.

Staff at desk always very helpful,paperwork is always ready and completion only takes a few minutes. dropping off is the same,someone waits at departures and waves you in.

Car took a long time to come to collection desk - over 30mins!!! Also the car only had half a tank of Diesel.

If I should mention something which could be better, is handout procedure of the rental company in Thailand. After arrival in the airport we did have to wait quit a long time before the staff there were ready to go to their office, and after a long flight you are not in the mood to spend in total more than one hour for handout of the vehicle. This is a change in procedure from Thai rent a car, before they did handout the vehicle from the car park in the Airport. Return of the vehicle went very smooth, less than 10 minutes, perfect.

Personally I prefer an older vehicle cos I don't worry too much about scratches ! Recently Thai Rent a Car have been providing newer vehicles - I guess this could be seen as a plus - but not for me !!! Bottom line is I have never had a problem.

The vehicle we hired was a family saloon, since the rental agency was out of this size we received a pick-up truck for no extra charge. Car was in good condition, however a third seatbelt was missing in the rear. After some searching the seatbelt was found and attached. Thai staff was friendly, somewhat chaotic but that is not unusual in Thailand (the This Is Thailand factor always applies). Pickup was at Suwanaphun airport, I expected to pick up the car at the carpark there but had to go to the rental office by the airport. Dropoff was perfect - the guy from Thai Rent-a-Car was waiting by the curbside at the departures at 01:00 in the morning on January 1st! Cheers for that!

Thailand Thai Rent at Bangkok Intl Airport Suvarnabhumi: Arrived about an hour earlier than planned, customs were good that day :) but the girl dealt with our phone call promtly and we were on our way within 45 mins. The car was excellent, also they have a no smoking policy, no nasty smells lingering in the A/C (even if it meant I had to stop every hour...for my passengers you understand :) ) Directions for the return were good, no problems, and again a very prompt handover. We had cleaned and washed the car, which was quite a surprise to them, but something wqe have always done after a rental. Overall, one of the best, if not the best, car rental company I have used in Thailand - have lived there now for 10 years and usually rent a car every other month.
